Kitchen counters are notorious for clutter. Coming home, it seems to be a great dumping ground for whatever objects come inside with you.
While this is a bad habit most people have, there are a few items that are worth keeping on the counter!
If you love tracking potion sizes like me, a kitchen scale will be an item used on a daily basis. It’s convenient for meal prep and making the “perfect” recipes found online.
Fruit bowls are an awesome thing to keep on the counter. I pretty much always want to snack on something, whether it’s just relaxing at the end of a long day watching TV, or working on the house. Having fruit on the counter is not only a healthy snack, but a great display during the summer. Gives the look of a lived in home, but also adds a pop of color.
Cookbook stand + books
If you’re old fashioned and like physical books, displaying your cookbooks is a great way to decorate your kitchen and still have ease of access when you’re ready to whip out a new recipe.
I love plants and love keeping them all in front of my kitchen window. Why not add a few herbs to the mix. Fresh herbs aren’t only great for aesthetics, but also great for your meals!
