Endless Possibilities with Custom Cabinets

Make Cabinets Taller

Instead of wasted space above your cabinets, we can make more usable space for you! Altering your cabinets to be taller is a simple process. We add another cabinet box on top of the current ones to add the height wanted or available. Then, when we reface your cabinets, our refacing materials cover both your original cabinets and the new cabinet box, blending them seamlessly.

Make Cabinets Wider

Just like making cabinets taller and if the wall space is available, we add additional cabinet boxes to the side of your current cabinets. Once refaced, it’s as if these additional cabinets were always there.

Two Part Design Consultation

With custom cabinets, we require a more robust design consultation. The consultation is split into two parts to allow for us to create a design for the new cabinets. As always, our design consultations are completely free.

Part 1: In Home Consult

First, one of our designers comes to your home to see your current kitchen and talk about layout and wants. They will take wall measurements before leaving to make an initial rendering. This allows you to visualize what changes we will do in your kitchen.

Part 2: Showroom Consult

Once the initial rendering is complete, you will meet with the designer at our Showroom to present the rendering and make changes. At this point, they will further discuss color options, door options, and wood species with you.

Upon project commitment and if desired, you will receive the full rendering of the kitchen: both 3D and line drawings. If you want to own the rendering with non-project commitment, Cabinet Cures charges a $250 fee.

Custom Cabinet Installation Timeline

Normally, 3–4 weeks in the design process is a realistic time frame for planning a kitchen remodel. This includes our design consultation alongside any other work you will be doing in the kitchen. We have preferred vendors we work with to help with the full scope of the project but you may also use your own general contractors.

Once all design decisions have been made and teams have been lined up, typically it is 6 weeks until install. Then, in a typical remodel, you will be anywhere from 6–10 weeks from demo to completion.

Our cabinet boxes are built locally. This means quicker turnaround and no freight charges. A local company vendor provides materials for us and we construct and finish the cabinets at our production facility. As with refacing, all materials will come to your home already built and finished. Less mess and less time in your home means the next step of your kitchen remodel is started sooner!
